Our portable appliance testing engineers provide a full professional service to your appliances, ensuring that your equipment remains safe to use.

Inspection:

Prior to any PAT testing being carried out, appliances will be visually inspected for the following:

• Insulation damage
• Plugs conform to BS standards
• Switches/indicator lights functioning
• Damage to casing etc.

Testing:

Safety Test UK will, where appropriate, carry out an extensive range of tests including:

• Earth continuity
• Touch leakage
• Operational
• Flash
• Leakage
• Polarity
• Microwave leakage detection

Labelling:

A pass or failed label will be attached to every appliance, each having its own individual reference.

Documentation & Certification:

We provide a complete record of each test carried out with information showing pass or failed results. Where necessary we provide a seperate failed register, our reports are available in either manual or electronic format. In addition to this we provide a general display certificate.
